Madziwa Teachers College

The module endeavors to demonstrate the partnership of physical education and arts curriculars. The course is offered at Diploma level for post ‘O’ level student teachers pursuing a three-year pre-service course. Course themes and topics cover culture issues, heritage-based education, the Education 5.0 philosophy which promotes a skills-based curriculum as well as research in the field of physical education and arts in Early Childhood Development (ECD). Materials production is also a pivotal concept in this course employing entrepreneurship, innovation and industrialization as student-exit skills for sustainability.
