Madziwa Teachers College

This module introduces student teachers to principles and practices of environmental protection and management. It covers aspects of impact of human activities on the environment, environmental policies, laws and strategies for sustainable development. The module equips student teachers with knowledge, skills, attitudes for responsible environmental stewardship in the context of education. Furthermore, student teachers gain skills to design and produce materials and offer services which help communities to implement sustainable adaptive measures to manage and protect the environment. The module, thus, increases chances of identifying and utilizing opportunities for income generating projects from environmental impact assessments.
