Madziwa Teachers College

This module provides student teachers with an understanding of the vital linkages between research innovation and industrialisation to meet the needs of the rapidly changing world. It examines how educational systems can be transformed through innovation and industrialisation in the production of goods and services. It also seeks to enable the student teachers to explain the process and methods involved in systematic inquiry of educationally relevant questions. It provides student teachers with analytical thinking, objectivity, problem solving and creativity skills. It further acquaints student teachers with skills in acknowledging sources and upholding ethical considerations in research. Student teachers will be kept abreast with contemporary issues in the field of educational research. The module also prepares student teachers for the production of a scholarly research report.
